The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Fixings and Fittings web site. All goods remain the property of Fixings & Fittings until payment is made in full and cleared. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions, This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are exclusive of VAT and of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order. We accept paypal, credit or debit card payment.

PayPoint provides secure online credit card and debit card payment. You can also send your credit card information by phone or email, information shown above.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared.

General
All orders that you place on this Web Site will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms. These Terms may be amended at any time by Fixings and Fittings. They may also be extended to include other conditions applicable to specific goods or services offered by Fixings and Fittings from time to time. It is your responsibility to read the Terms every time you place an order. Fixings and Fittings reserves the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to remove, amend or vary the content, which appears on any page of the Web Site. This Web Site is directed towards businesses and it is assumed that all orders are placed on behalf of a business. By your acceptance of these terms you confirm that you have the necessary authority to bind the business you are placing the order on behalf of.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

Description of Goods
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

Accuracy of Product Information
All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers and manufacturers. The intention of fixingsandfittings.co.uk is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Fixings and Fittings cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Delivery Charges
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout.

Delivery Times
Delivery of products within UK (stock items) will normally be made within 2-4 working days from clearance of payment although this may vary. Please see individual items for more information. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 28 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 28 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Risk
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

For your security, all deliveries must be signed for or they will not be left. Please remember to inspect the condition and quantity of your package/goods before signing for them. Claims for missing or damaged products will be rejected if they have been signed for "Received in GOOD CONDITION". In the event that goods are returned to us because they were not signed for we will not be liable for any loss sustained by you and we will contact you to arrange payment by you of a further carriage charge before we are obliged to attempt to redeliver the items to you.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims
Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us by email to via our contact us page within 7 days from delivery.

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us by email via our contact us page within 7 days from delivery.

Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods within 7 days from delivery by email via our contact us page.

Returns

Within 14 Days of receipt

You have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations.

Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are despatched, please contact our Customer Service Department to do so.

If you wish to return an item you have received because you have changed your mind, or no longer require the part, simply return it within 14 days and a refund will be arranged subject to a re-stocking fee. All items returned must be unused, and in a re-saleable condition and in original packaging. Upon receipt and inspection of these items, as long as all is ok we will issue a refund with 48 hours. Items that have been specially ordered cannot be returned.  You are responsible for any costs incurred in returning unwanted goods. These costs normally involve a delivery charge and a restocking fee (% price depends on goods - Interclamp fittings generally 15%) of the parts.

Goods returned because they are faulty or incorrect must be received in the condition that you received them. We will pay for the return of these items. Once your item has been received and inspected we will arrange for a refund or replacement to be sent as necessary.

Please make sure you get proof of postage in case your item gets lost in the post.

Warrantee
Manufacturers parts and labour warrantee conditions apply.  (UK mainland only)

Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 7 days from the expected delivery date by email via our contact us page.

Faulty Goods
Products that are deemed faulty can be returned for replacement or credit. Faulty goods can be returned up to 7 working days following receipt of order, please inform us by email via our contact us page stating 'faulty goods' as the subject and including all order details within the correspondence
This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

Unwanted Goods
It is the responsibility of the customer to return unwanted or wrongly ordered items to Fixings and Fittings. Please contact the office for address details.

The cost of the goods will be refunded excluding the delivery charge and restocking fee (% dependant on type of goods ordered). The refund will be allocated once the goods have been received in good condition and checked.
